American Store

I have heard rumors of an "American Store" in Madrid. I wasn't so lucky in Sevilla. I'm going to check it out today and I'll let you know what yummy goodies I find.

    So I checked out 'The Taste of America' and it's true. They have all sorts of American products, from Aunt Jemima syrup to Reeses Pieces. The store is quite cramped, small, and unorganized...and the products seem to change often. Basically - you have to have a little luck to find what you need but hey they do have vanilla! If you're looking for some American goodies, go to Calle Serrano 149 (it's just past the Republica Argentina round-a-bout). I unfortunately was not able to find cream of mushroom soup for my greenbean casserole. Does anyone know how to make it by hand? Enjoy the holidays!
